During its inaugural season, I assist the social team in managing MLS Next Pro social media platforms for match promotion and league-wide news. And provide game coverage in relative real-time (i.e., posting highlights, creating (HT/FT) score graphics, amplifying club tweets) using Clipro and Adobe Creative Suite.
Heart of LAFC | March 2022 - Current
As one of the content coordinators, I assist with a wide variety of responsibilities including social media management, content creation (written and photography), as well make guest appearances on the live podcast.
Challenger Sports / Challenger Pitch | April 2021 - December 2021
Challenger Sports is the largest provider of soccer camps and apparel in North America.
As the social media coordinator, I monitored and strategized innovative social media marketing methods to increase user engagement across all social media platforms. As well, worked closely with the marketing team and company partners to create and execute advertising campaigns.
For Challenger Pitch, Challenger's newest sports blog. I developed original content for Challenger Pitch, covering MLS, NWSL, and various local teams in the Kansas City metro area.
Major League Soccer | August 2018 - April 2020
As a contributing writer, I worked with editorial staff and writers under tight deadlines on game day; produced articles in the form of "folos" and "siders" for MLSSoccer.com as needed. As well, assisted with postgame duties: interview players and coaches and transcribe quotes.
Switch The Pitch | May 2018 - April 2021
While I was the Sporting Kansas City and the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) correspondent for Switch The Pitch (formerly MLSFemale); I produced original content for SwitchThePitch.com (MLSFemale.com) using WordPress. In addition to, helping colleagues with updating and promoting articles on Instagram.
SB Nation | July 2016 - August 2018
I served as one of several Sporting KC's beat reporters for The Blue Testament, Sporting KC's site; interviewed various professional athletes, coaches, and sports personalities. Including having assisted team members in uploading photos and videos to all of our social media platforms.
Swope Park Rangers | March 2016 - November 2016
While in its inaugural season, I was a gameday communications assistant and aided the Rangers PR staff by completing a mix of PR and digital duties during home games including distributed PR materials, managed media will call, assisted local reporters, transcribed postgame quotes, etc.

I wrote, edited, and published for a Reporting KC covering Sporting Kansas City, Swope Park Rangers, FC Kansas City and the Missouri Comets. As well, assisted Reporting KC's editors in managing social media platforms.
Kansas City Comets | November 2015 - March 2016
I continued to combine my passion for creating content and soccer by joining two-time Major Arena Soccer League champions' digital media team in November of 2015. During my internship, I managed the team's social media channels, provided daily digital content for the Comet's website, promotional advertising; as well facilitated player interviews following training sessions and post-game.
Kansas City Public Television | August 2015 - December 2015
In the Fall of 2015, I served as the staff writer/producer intern. Here, I learned various new audio visual and recording techniques, as well as investigative journalism. I wrote feature stories based on issues affecting Wyandotte County. Produced blogs and 1:30 video pieces for KCPT’s online magazine Flatland. Additionally, helped staff writers with production and editing needs.
University News | August 2015 - December 2015
During my final semester at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, I contributed weekly articles on deadline for the university’s student-run newspaper, University News.. I collected and utilized information through research and interviews. Pitched story ideas during weekly meetings with other staff members. I covered all UMKC and Kansas City sports and assisted the Sports Editor in UMKC game coverage, as well as provided insight to sports analytics.
Sporting Kansas City | May 2015 - August 2015
In the summer of 2015, I served as the community relations intern at Sporting KC. During my time there, I provided content for Sporting KC’s website by writing weekly blogs including promotional advertising, honorees updates, upcoming events, and event recaps. Assisted in updating all social media platforms for the Victory Project. Worked with fundraising efforts and interacted with potential donors. Aided in facilitating player media appearances and photoshoots for special events in the Kansas City area.
Through managing ticket donation(s), player appearance schedule, and “Sporting Victor” volunteer and suite guest worksheet(s), I learned valuable public relations skills. Organizing various customer relations initiatives that enhanced customer experiences. Including, created worksheets in Microsoft Excel for research and contact purposes and produced email blasts and other communications.

Media Assistant | United Soccer Coaches
I assisted United Soccer Coaches and their marketing team with podcast row and media duties for the 2022 United Soccer Coaches Convention in Kansas City. My additional responsibilities included recruiting and instructing invited podcast shows.
Sporting Victor | Sporting Kansas City
The Victory Project, launched by Sporting Kansas City's parent organization Sporting Club, is a community-driven foundation whose mission is to help all children thrive through life's challenges.
As a Sporting Victor, I assisted Sporting KC's Community Relations Manager and fellow team members during various fundraisers and events like: Recycle Your Game, Yoga On The Pitch, The 2015 and 2017 Victory Project Soccer Clinics, Boulevardia 2015 and 2016, Fiery Stick 2015, and Day of Play 2015.
