Araceli Villanueva

Hi, my name is Araceli Villanueva! I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with my Bachelor's of Communication Studies with an emphasis in Journalism and Mass Media in December of 2015. 

 

Soccer is not just a sport to me. It is a passion. I have watched, played, and lived every moment in its existence since I was born. With a strong passion for writing and telling stories, my goal is to help connect fans to the beautiful game, whether they are enjoying this joyful atmosphere in person or watching it at home.

Through my former internship work with innovative organizations like Sporting Kansas City, KC Pro Soccer, and Kansas City Public Television; I have gained valuable experience, including having learned new social media management and public relations skills.

 

Currently, I am a freelance social media editor for MLS NEXT Pro and cover LAFC for the Heart of LAFC Podcast.
